Direct Support Professional Week
September 14 -18
We’re excited to celebrate DSP Appreciation Week and recognize the incredible Direct Support Professionals who make a difference in the lives of the individuals we support every day! 🌟 Our DSPs provide meaningful support, encouragement, and care while helping individuals build independence, pursue personal growth, and reach their goals.
Throughout the week, we’ll be celebrating our DSPs with a fun Spirit Week! 🎉 Staff are invited to participate in daily themes, including Favorite Socks Monday, Fancy Clothes Tuesday, Crazy Hair Wednesday, Favorite Sports Team Thursday, and Mismatch Friday.
We’d also love your help in showing our DSPs how much they are appreciated! Donations of monetary gifts, snacks, soda/beverages, and cards or gift cards are welcome through September 11th and can be dropped off at either the Centennial or Fort Collins Corporate Office.
All donations will be used throughout DSP Week to help us celebrate, recognize, and show appreciation for the incredible DSPs who support our clients every day!

To help ensure clear communication and accurate recordkeeping, all Service Plan invitations, Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) notices, DocuSign forms, and Case Manager correspondence should be sent exclusively to clientservices@highpointecenters.org. Using a single point of contact allows us to streamline communication with external agencies, prevent confusion or duplicate messaging, and ensure all information is properly tracked, documented, and routed.

September Theme Summary: Learn it - Work it - Do it
This month, clients will focus on building practical life and financial skills, including budgeting, shopping, saving, financial literacy, and making smart money choices. They will also explore workplace readiness through role-play scenarios, appropriate workplace behaviors, and activities designed to help identify and explore personal job interests. In addition, clients will celebrate Labor Day and explore the transition into the fall season.
