To become a shared living provider and deliver services to person with developmental disabilities a person must be at least 21 years of age, self-supporting and willing to make a long-term commitment to provide a loving, clean and safe home for someone with a developmental disability.

HighPointe’s supported living homes are located along the front range of Colorado from the Denver Metro Area to Northern Colorado. These homes are typically smaller settings, serving 1-2 adult residents.

Those who live in these homes direct the services they receive, which means each resident, or their appointed guardian selects the services they wish to receive from a provider of their choosing. HighPointe providers support the independence of those who reside in the homes by assisting the persons served with community inclusion, meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, health care needs and other areas as needed.

People supported in this program are encouraged to live, work and play in their community. HighPointe Providers will assist those served with exploring activities based on interest and desire. The HighPointe Services residential coordinator staff will also assist in introducing new activities to those in our program.

HighPointe Services shared living host homes are a safe, comfortable environment where people with disabilities can live and thrive while learning independent living skills and experiencing new opportunities.
