Chris Vasquez
Vice President of Residential Services
As Vice President of Residential Services at HighPointe, I lead strategic planning, program development, and compliance to ensure quality care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With over eight years of experience in this field—and three years as a Board Member—I bring a deep commitment to client-centered services, financial oversight, staff development, and community collaboration. My passion is driven by my personal journey as a father to my daughter Nicole, whose strength inspires my dedication to enhancing quality of life for every client. I believe in empowering others through my “Lift, Raise, and Release” leadership philosophy. Outside of work, I cherish my 38-year marriage, my amazing family, and my love for golf and Tommy Bahama—because sometimes, you’ve just got to “RELAX.”

This experience fuels my commitment to developing inclusive programs that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I strive to create environments where everyone can thrive, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
As Compliance Director at HighPointe, I ensure our programs and services align with all state and federal regulations. I live in Northglenn, Colorado, and enjoy shopping and quality time with my teenage daughter, family, and friends.
As Program Design Director, I lead a talented team in developing engaging curriculum for all levels of learning within the IDD community. With over 11 years at HighPointe and extensive experience in the field, I bring a collaborative and visionary approach to leadership. A Colorado native, I’m married with two children and 11 wonderful grandchildren. Outside of work, I enjoy baking and creating specialty chocolates.
As Director of Life Management Services, I bridge the gap between residential, medical, vocational, and program development teams to ensure we work seamlessly toward supporting our clients’ needs, interests, and goals. I turn ideas into practical, digital tools that help our teams respond quickly and effectively, while also building systems that can grow alongside the individuals we serve. My career, rooted in a lifelong passion for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has spanned school settings, Special Olympics leadership, and community-based roles, all grounded in problem-solving, compassion, and collaboration. I believe in simplifying systems, leading by example, and creating meaningful, enjoyable work environments for both clients and staff. Outside of work, I’m a proud wife, mom, realtor, and outdoor enthusiast who finds joy in everything from snowboarding to relaxing around a campfire with friends.
As Residential Director at HighPointe, I am dedicated to ensuring high-quality care and oversight while supporting individuals and families through emergency, short-, and long-term planning. With a background as a CNA/Program Specialist and experience in auditing, compliance, and medical management, I bring a well-rounded understanding of caregiving and regulatory standards. I’m passionate about helping families navigate Medicaid services and plan for their loved ones' futures, using my strengths in research, relationship-building, and problem-solving to make residential services more effective and efficient. Above all, I care deeply about people and value the meaningful connections in both my work and personal life.
As Accounting Manager, I oversee all aspects of payroll, invoicing, and financial transactions at HighPointe, ensuring accuracy and timely processing for staff, contractors, and providers. With over 12 years of experience in finance and a background in customer service, I bring a detail-oriented, supportive, and collaborative leadership style. I began my journey at HighPointe in direct support, gaining firsthand understanding of individuals with developmental disabilities. Originally from the Philippines, I worked as an accountant for a U.S. military subcontractor in Iraq before moving to the U.S. 17 years ago. I now live here with my husband, Derrick, and our two daughters, and we love traveling and spending quality time together as a family.
